Waving from the royal barge, my drawing of the Queen during her Diamond Jubilee, will be docking alongside William and Kate at their Royal Wedding. Débuting July 12th, it will be in my next addition to this cityscape art series of London historic occasions.
One year ago today, I drew this William and Kate Royal Wedding art as I, along with the rest of the globe watched this otherworldly ceremony.
As we and William first saw Kate in her dress, I began drawing flower shapes inspired by the lace appliqué. I was not only caught up in that other-worldly ceremony that Friday morning with the rest of England and beyond; but focused my attention on releasing this NLE piece of wedding souvenir art that authentically depicted the elegance of the day.
